SERPOST - NEW STAMPS ISSUE 2021

Stamps for our Bicentennial of Independence.

On this occasion, SERPOST has released two stamps. The first is allusive to our Peruvian diplomat, former Secretary-General of the United Nations, Javier Perez de Cuellar, and the second is the Torre Tagle Palace, built during the viceregal era of Peru that currently serves as the main headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. From Peru. It is located in Jirón Ucayali in the historic center of Lima, two blocks southeast of the Plaza Mayor.

Mole Antonelliana

 



The Mole Antonelliana is a major landmark building in Turin, Italy, named after its architect, Alessandro Antonelli. A mole in Italian is a building of monumental proportions.

Since 2000, the building has housed the Museo Nazionale del Cinema (National Museum of Cinema). The Mole appears on the reverse of the two-cent Italian euro coins and was the inspiration for the official emblem of the 2006 Winter Olympics, as well as those of the 2005 World Bocce Championships and the 2006 World Fencing Championships.
